To provide treatment for people living in South and East Dorset whose lives are affected by drug and alcohol use.

The team has an open referral policy.

What functions/treatment and therapies are offered?

The team offers a range of specialist prescribing and psychosocial interventions, as well as offering help and information to other professionals and provides a confidential assessment and treatment service from premises in Swanage, Ferndown and Christchurch.

Which types of illness/medical condition does the service treat?

Dependence on drugs and alcohol.

Who will I see?

The Community Drug and Alcohol Team is a multidisciplinary team of specialist workers.
