Whatever form of mental illness someone suffers from, we’re equipped to support and treat their individual needs. Our broad range of treatments is highly regarded for its quality and we always shape treatments to fit the individual. We always involve the Service User and where possible Carers in the care-planning process.
Most people can be treated and supported at home or in a community setting, while others benefit from a more specialist approach. To ensure our care is effective we always closely co-ordinate our efforts with Social Services and other related organisations.
Our teams of specialists, including Doctors, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Psychologists and Support Workers, are dedicated to the care of all adults with mental health needs and we work closely with Social Services and Voluntary Organisations to ensure we provide a seamless service.
Our services have been developed by continually listening to the needs and views of people and their carers. Within the community, day hospital, out-patient services and ward settings we provide assessments, care planning and treatment for adults over 18 years to end of life.
The types of services we offer cover these areas:
• Serious Mental Illness – these are provided by multi-professional mental health teams and support long-term or enduring conditions. The emphasis is on recovery for all our service users.
• Crisis Service – this service provides 24 hour, 7 day a week support to all service users in crisis. They are able to provide intensive support in service users own homes to prevent the need for inpatient admission.
