What does it do?

This service focuses on enabling people with long-term mental health problems to have a better quality of life.

Bournemouth, Poole and South & East Dorset.

What are the service opening times?

Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm

What functions/treatment and therapies are offered?

We support and treat people in local centres and via community teams.  We offer in-depth assessment, and treatment is always built around the individual, which includes education and group or individual therapy.  We also provide many useful activities such as: vocational training; social, leisure and healthy lifestyle activities; daily living skills; community skills training; and Clozaril clinics. 

We work closely with local Community Mental Health Teams and Assertive Outreach teams to ensure continuity of care.

The service offers recovery support for people with mental ill health needs in South and East Dorset

The team is made up of Nurses and Support Time Recovery Workers

Day units :

Red shed – Monday – 9.00 to 3.30pm

Pines – Tuesday – 9.00 to 11.30

Out and about group Wednesday 10 to 4pm

Pines - Thursday 9.00 to 2.30pm

Bourne – Friday 9.00 to 2pm

Beaufort Ramblers  - Friday 10 to 3.30pm

Clozaril clinics run from Hahnemann

Monday 9.30 to 4pm

Tuesday 9.30 to 4pm

Wednesday am as required.

Group programme runs from Hahnemann House Monday to Friday . Groups mainly run in community settings between the hours of 10.30 and 4pm and include – snooker , bowling , gym , ramble , swimming . womens group and mens group.
