Crisis / Intensive Home Treatment Service

What does it do?

We help young people who are in crisis and require intensive support in the community, to prevent their admission to hospital or to facilitate an early discharge home to their families and carers.

Service Delivery Area

The team provides support from different locations in Dorset, or works within the child's home environment or school, which means our services are easy to access, and young people and their carers can be seen and remain close to where they live.  The team also provides support and consultation to Foster Carers and staff within schools and residential units.
