What functions/treatment and therapies are offered?

The Contraception and Sexual Health Service offers:

  • A wide range of condoms, dental dams and lubricants
  • Emergency Contraception
  • Contraceptive Pills, Injections and Long Acting Implants
  • Intra-uterine Devices / Systems (IUD/IUS)
  • Diaphragms
  • Pregnancy Testing
  • Referral for termination of pregnancy
  • Chlamydia Screening
  • Smear Tests

 

The STI testing service offers:

  • Self taken tests for Chlamydia / Gonorrhoea
  • Blood tests for Syphilis / HIV / Hepatitis

This service for people who would like a check up without examination. Patients who have any symptoms should contact their local GUM clinic on 0300 303 1948
