What does it do?

The service assesses patients with potentail cardiac problems such as chest pain, palpatations, blackouts and breathlessness.  It follows up patients with known heart problems such as angina, heart rhythm problems, heart valve problems, cardiomyopathy and congenital heart defects.

What functions/treatment and therapies are offered?

We offer echo scanning (ultrasound scan of the heart) and heart rhythym monitors, with or without consultations.  We can also assess patients with chest pain by exercising them on a treadmill.
