What does it do?

The surgical removal (under general or local anaesthetic) of impacted wisdom teeth, other teeth, dental clearance and biopsy to lesions in the mouth.

Weekly each Tuesday afternoon.

How can I refer?

Referral is usually to the Oral Outpatient Department at Poole Hospital for assessment.  Patients can then be listed for surgery at Swanage Hospital.

What functions/treatment and therapies are offered?

Day surgery treatment is undertaken, but there is the facility for an overnight stay in Swanage Hospital if necessary.
