Trust Board

The Trust Board comprises six part-time Non-Executive Directors who are not employees of the Trust, six Executive Directors including the Chief Executive, and a Chairman. The members of the Board share a corporate responsibility for all decisions made by the Board.

The Board of Directors work with the Council of Governors to agree the future plans of the organisation. The role of the Board is to set the strategic direction of the Trust, agree annual objectives and ensure they are achieved, ensure effective financial control and ensure high standards of corporate governance. Meetings of the Board are held in public and anyone is welcome to attend. Meetings are held on the last Wednesday of alternate months, please see the Board Agenda page for more information. The Trust also holds an Annual Members Meeting in September each year, which is attended by Governors, Members and Board of Director Members.
