Freedom of Information Publication Scheme

Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust's Information Publication Scheme is the information that we routinely publish in order to fulfil our obligations set out at section 19 Freedom of Information Act (2000). The Trust has adopted the Information Commissioner’s model publication scheme and follows the definition document for Health Bodies in England.

This Publication Scheme commits the trust to make information available to the public as part of its normal business activities. The information covered is classed in the following seven categories:

• Who we are and what we do
• What we spend and how we spend it
• What are our priorities and how we are doing
• How we make decisions
• Our policies and procedures
• Lists and registers
• The services we offer

In addition to accessing the information identified in this Publication Scheme, you are entitled to request information about the Trust under the Freedom of Information Act (2000).

You can make an information request under the general rights of access to information by writing to the Trust Secretary at the address below or email foi.enquiries@dhuft.nhs.uk

We will respond to your information request within 20 working days. Sometimes, some or all of the information requested cannot be provided. We will explain the reasons why not if this happens.
