Charles PeersCharles Peers

Qualifications
Qualified as an osteopath from the British School of Osteopathy in 1992.
BSc (Hons) Physiology from University College London 1984

Experience
Marylebone Back Pain Clinic 1996 - 2002 and Plymouth Low Back Pain Service 2000 until present -both of which working within extensive multidisciplinary team for treatment and management of low back pain
General Osteopathic Council peer reviewer for recent NICE guidelines relating to low back pain.
Surgical Research Assistant in Department of Surgery at King's College Hospital, London. Lectured in physiology and worked in the Research Department in the British School of Osteopathy subsequent to qualifying as an Osteopath.

Special Interests
Enjoys being involved in research pertaining to low back pain and has been a co-author of two research papers.

Interested in pathways of care in a multidisciplinary environment and developing tools which predict patient outcomes.



Gemma PayneGemma Payne

Training
BSc (Hons) Degree in Physiotherapy Oxford Brookes University 2005
Trainining in Acupuncture and a member of the Acupuncture Association of Physiotherapists
Extending the Scope of Practice in Upper Quadrant Disorders (MSc Module).
Variety of other musculoskeletal diagnostic and treatment courses.

Experience
Gemma has worked in musculoskeletal physiotherapy for 6 years in locations across Dorset, developing skills in the assessment and treatment of a variety of musculoskeletal conditions using skills in manual therapy, exercise and acupuncture.

Special Interests
Gemma has a keen interest in the treatment of spinal pain, increasing patient understanding, knowledge and beliefs to aid future prevention.

Future Endeavors

To assist in the continued development of the service and its care pathways including assisting in the development of the Healthy Back Program. Also continuing to develop manual therapy skills to treat spinal pain.



Oliver WilsonOliver Wilson

Qualifications
Qualified as Registered Osteopath, The British School of Osteopathy, 2001.
BSc Hons Psychology, University of Reading, 1993.

Experience
2005-2011 Westminster Primary Care Trust. Worked in a busy Physiotherapy and Osteopathy outpatients department in the NHS.
2003-2005 Kensington & Chelsea PCT.
While working within a multidisciplinary team, I have been able to experience a broad spectrum of care modalities.
2009 - Researched, developed and implemented a multi-bed acupuncture clinic.

Experience
Tracey has worked in physiotherapy since 1992. She has been specialised in the field of musculoskeletal medicine for 17 years. As such she has developed extensive assessment and managment skills covering a broad spectrum of musculoskeletal presentations. She has been working as an orthopaedic practitioner for the NHS in Dorset for five years.

Special Interests

Tracey has a keen interest in the management of spinal pain, particularly in relation to ensuring each client has a good understanding of their condition. She is keen promote effeciency within the back pain service, whilst maintaining excellence in quality of care for all patients. In additon to her role in the MSK, she works as an Orthopaedic Practitioner with the local shoulder surgeon
