A network of trained coaches can support you to reach your career goals and personal development.

Recriprocal mentoring programme

Six month mentoring opportunity for junior BAME colleagues to mentor senior colleagues – gain insight into other areas of the organisation, share lived experiences, deepen knowledge around ethnicity and equality.

Apprenticeships

Covering both clinical and non-clinical apprenticeship routes, from entry level all the way up to degree and masters qualifications, to help you take your career to the next level. 

Preceptorships

Supporting newly qualified practitioners over 12 months to transition into confident and competent practitioners.

Job shadowing

Work alongside a colleague from another area of the organisation to gain experience of a new role.

Staff networks

Join one of our nine staff networks and have the opportunity make a positive impact in transforming Dorset HealthCare to become more inclusive. Our current networks include: Admin Support, BAME, Carers Club, Faith and Spirituality, Hidden Abilities, Open Minds, LGBT+, Parents, and Women Staff.

Dragons Den 

Put your ideas into action. Annual competition for staff to apply and pitch for project funding and project management support to implement their ideas.
