Anna Webb - Public Governor for Poole

I have already established an excellent working relationship with the directors and non-executive directors of the Trust. I believe in giving people a voice in Trust business and driving up the efficiency and quality of the service we offer. I have experience in representing the public opinion and have pushed for better contact with the membership and the public in general in Poole. I am a confident public speaker and I have the drive, determination and commitment to challenge where it is needed, but also to work with the Trust to explore different ways of delivering an excellent service in an increasingly difficult financial climate. I keep abreast of developments in health and social care and also research that is taking place. I am up to date with the Trust position and can communicate with people in understandable jargon free language. I have empathy with the people who are dependent on our services and have made it my business to find out about the many clinical conditions that we treat. I am still learning by listening to people who use services, their family and carers, the Trust staff and other governors. Together we can work towards giving the people of Dorset the service that they want, need and deserve.
