We provide support for people across Dorset living with diabetes.
While most patients will receive their main diabetes care from their GP or practice nurse, our Intermediate Diabetes Dietetics Service helps people to control and manage their condition on a day-to-day basis.
Based in clinics around the county, our specialist staff work with patients to improve their knowledge and skills, in order to help prevent both short- and long-term complications from diabetes.
For people newly diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, we also run education sessions to help them learn more about the condition and manage it effectively.
If you or your loved one would like to access our diabetes service, please speak to your GP, practice nurse or other healthcare professional.
