Donations from our patients, their families and other generous people are a very welcome source of support for our services. Whether for the Trust as a whole or directed to specific sites or teams, all donations – large or small – make an important contribution and help us to continue improving patient care. This can take the form of enhanced staff training, new equipment and building refurbishments, as well as ideas and items to enhance patient comfort.
If you would like to make a donation to the Dorset HealthCare Charitable Fund (Charity Commission number 1056550), there are three ways of doing so (see below). If you want your money allocated to a specific site or service in our Trust, please let us know. Otherwise, your donation will go into the general fund which supports our wider charitable activities across the county.
Don’t forget to gift aid your donation (if you are an eligible taxpayer). Using gift aid means that for every pound you give, we will receive an extra 25p in tax relief from HM Revenue and Customs, helping your donation to go further – and it won’t cost you a penny. Gift Aid forms are available at www.gov.uk/claim-gift-aid/gift-aid-declarations.
Thank you.
