Ahead of Armed Forces Day on 28 June, we would like to remind local people that support is available for veterans, reservists, active members of the armed forces and their families.

As an accredited Veteran Aware Trust we continue to urge any former military personnel struggling with physical or mental health issues to seek help if they feel they need it.

Expert mental health support is available from Op COURAGE: The Veterans Mental Health and Wellbeing Service, which can help those finding life difficult after leaving the military. Working together with armed forces charities, Op COURAGE will help you get the right type of specialist care, support and treatment for your specific needs.

Help with issues such as health, welfare, housing and employment is also available to veterans through the Trust’s Armed Forces Community Health and Wellbeing Team
