Summer timetable
We co-develop and co-deliver free educational based courses focusing on recovery, wellbeing and shared learning. Our courses have been designed to empower people to find hope, to see and embrace opportunity through building skills and to gain control by putting these skills into practice.
Our timetable of courses is broken down into three terms: spring (January-Easter), summer (May-July) and autumn (September–December).
Our Summer Term courses will be running from the beginning of May until the end of July 2025. Our summer timetable and course descriptions are now available below.
You need to register and enrol before you can book onto our upcoming courses.

Although we speak of the REC as a centre, our face to face courses are delivered in various settings across Dorset, including educational, health, social and community venues. The locations include, but are not exclusive to: Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Wareham, Dorchester, Bridport, Blandford, Shaftesbury, Sherborne and Weymouth.
Our webinars allow students to engage in online learning. A webinar turns our courses into real-time learning using a compatible phone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer. Our trainers will talk you through some core content and will be able to signpost you to resources that you may then want to further explore to enhance your learning.
We offer two types of webinars, standard and enhanced, in order to provide a choice in learning formats and interaction.
What is a standard webinar?
Our standard webinars offer the chance to attend a webinar without using your cameras or microphones. In a standard webinar you will see both trainers but not yourself or the other students. You will also see a PowerPoint presentation on screen. You are able to interact using a questions box function and trainers will read out interactions anonymously.
What is an enhanced webinar?
Our enhanced webinars are run on the platform MS Teams. Enhanced Webinars offer an interactive virtual classroom setting, where trainers and students interact together using cameras and microphones. You will also see a PowerPoint presentation on screen. We ask that everyone has their camera on for enhanced webinars to keep everyone engaged in the same conversation. If you prefer to have your camera off and use a chat function, please opt for a standard webinar where possible.
