Please find below some further details for our courses and events running this summer term.
We are continuing to run a variety of courses in our different formats (online webinars and face to face). Our Standard Webinars offer the chance to attend a webinar without using your cameras or microphones. In a standard webinar you will see both trainers but not yourself or the other students. You are able to interact using a chat box function and trainers will read out interactions anonymously.
Our Enhanced Webinars offer a virtual classroom setting, where trainers and students interact together using cameras and microphones instead of a chat box function. We ask that everyone has their camera on for enhanced webinars and we do not use the chat function. This helps to keep everyone engaged in the same conversation. If you prefer to have your camera off and use the chat, please opt for a standard webinar where possible.
We are really pleased to be offering our Introduction to Mindfulness course for the first time in a while this term. We will be delivering it both face to face and online, so please check course descriptions and timetable for details.
As always, we encourage you to contact us to register your interest in attending any of our courses as soon as you are able, by emailing the team on dhc.recovery.educationcentre@nhs.net or calling us on 01202 584478.
Please remember spaces are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis. We recommend students pace their learning and limit the number of courses you book to around 5-6 per term. This will give valuable time to put in place some of your learning and follow up any self-directed learning. As we have limited course numbers, it also allows more people to attend each term. If you would like to find out more or have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate in contacting the REC office.
