Yeatman Hospital - Sherborne
Portland was a naval hospital which was handed over to the NHS in the early 1950s. At the time it had both orthopaedics and children’s services with its own kitchen and staff accommodation.
Now, Portland Hospital still meets the needs of both Portland and the wider community in Weymouth with outpatient clinics and a physiotherapy service.
