Wareham Hospital hosts a large variety of outpatient clinics serving the Purbeck community, ranging from health and wellbeing to podiatry and diabetic eye screening. Due to our central location, we are also home to the pan-Dorset chronic fatigue service.

Parking

There is free parking in the roads around the hospital.  These can be busy at school drop off and pick up times.

There is a free car park between Wareham Surgery and the rear of the hospital which patients can use. 

There are eight designated hospital car park spaces at the front of the hospital including two disabled spaces.

Patients should take care not to park in the layby or carpark labelled for the housing association flats opposite the front entrance to the hospital. Fines are issued to people parking in these without a permit.

There is a pay and display car park in Streche Road which is approximately a five minute walk from the hospital entrance. There is a gentle incline for 800 metres of this.
