Join Dorset's free health information event

Dorset HealthCare is joining health partners from across Dorset to share plans and updates about local changes to the NHS.

The free health information event is taking place on Thursday (29 June) 10am-4pm at the Mowlem Theatre, Swanage. It is open to everyone.

Attendees will learn more about NHS developments across Dorset, including new facilities at Royal Bournemouth, Poole and Dorset County hospitals, outpatient services and work to reduce waiting lists around the county.

Dorset County Hospital (DCH) will share plans on the developments of its emergency department and discharge lounge plans at DCH and the assessment centre at South Walks House in Dorchester.

NHS Dorset, Live Well Dorset and Healthwatch will also be at the event.

Representatives from our vaccination team and Integrated Urgent Care Service will also be there, alongside some of our governors, to talk to visitors and answer questions. 

COVID booster vaccines will be on offer as well as health checks (eligibility criteria for both of these applies) and other health information covering areas including NHS 111 and minor injury units.
