Annual Members' Meeting 2021

This year’s Annual Members’ Meeting took place on 20 October and – with the spread of COVID-19 still a serious issue – it was again run online.

Healthcare is changing – and we’re looking to the future

We’ve all had to adapt how we do things in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, and that’s already brought about many changes in the way we deliver our services.

A huge amount of work is going on at Dorset HealthCare, and across the health and care system, to make sure our Trust is well-placed to meet the challenges of the years ahead.

Our 2021 Annual Members’ Meeting will take stock of how we’ve adapted our services to continue providing the support that so many people depend upon, and also look ahead at our vision for future services that will continue to empower people to make the most of their lives.

As in 2020, our Annual Members’ Meeting will once again be online using Microsoft Teams. While we are disappointed not to be meeting local people face to face, we know that this is the right thing to do when there are still health risks from larger gatherings as we go into winter. Last year’s ‘virtual’ event worked well, and we’re confident it will be just as successful this time around.

Our Chief Executive Eugine Yafele will reflect on the past 12 months, while also outlining future developments in the pipeline. We will showcase how our services have continued to support people during the pandemic, and there will also be a report from our Council of Governors – the people who represent our communities.

Anyone with an internet connection can attend the meeting, which will be run like a webinar, and we would love to hear your questions – just type them in to the Q&A during the event. You can also submit a question in advance if you prefer when you register for the event (see below).
