Breastfeeding

What does it do?

The Breastfeeding Support Service is a small team of Lactation Consultants and qualified Breastfeeding Counsellors who work across Bournemouth and Poole who have specialist knowledge and skills in breastfeeding.  The team works closely with Health Visiting teams to offer a seamless service to new mothers.  Their aim is to support women to make an informed choice on their chosen method of feeding their new baby and to support them to continue breastfeeding for as long as they wish.
