Gender Pay Gap
Story of our Gender Pay Gap
We fully support the equality of opportunity and continue to progress actions to close the gap and achieve this. Positive progress has been made since 2022 with a further decrease in the pay gap by
1.7% from 6.28% on 31 March 2022 to 4.58% as of 31 March 2023.
This is our lowest reported gender pay gap over a five-year period. Female staff are represented in many senior positions, but we acknowledge there are still gaps.
Moving forward
We will continue to progress our ongoing actions which include:
- developing a values proposition for the employee life cycle
- commitment to supporting the Women’s Staff Network in empowering female colleagues commitment to an equitable workforce
- equitable access to Trust leadership learning and development opportunities
- deeper analysis of the data to better understand the drivers for the pay gap.
