Teenage booster vaccination provision to change
Our School Aged Immunisation Team is changing the way it offers teenage booster vaccinations this academic year and going forward.
All Year 9 students can now receive their vaccinations, together with Year 10 students, helping to protect them against serious diseases such as meningitis, tetanus, and polio.
The team is heading out and about visiting schools across the county from March. The team will be boosting our teenagers as part of Dorset’s wider vaccination programme, with community catch-up clinics for children who may have missed their vaccinations or who do not attend school.
Make sure to look out for an email from the school to give your consent or visit our website for more information.
