Booked appointments only, or urgent appointments arranged via each hospital’s Minor Injuries Unit (Urgent Treatment Centre in Weymouth).

We provide X-ray and ultrasound examinations in a number of our community hospitals around Dorset.
The technology provides detailed internal images of the body, which can help us diagnose and treat a wide variety of conditions.

You will see a radiographer, a sonographer or a consultant radiologist, depending on your examination.
If you, or your loved one, would like to access these services, please speak to your GP or other healthcare professional. Some X-ray examinations can also be provided for urgent (but not life-threatening) injuries at our Minor Injuries Units
