What happens next?

What happens to my nomination?

When we receive your nomination, we will send an acknowledgement by e-mail to the nominee and the nominator. The nominee will then be sent a certificate of nomination.

After the closing date, the nominations are submitted to our judging panel. They will independently score the nominations against the criteria

How will nominations be judged?

For the quartlerly awards, a panel of Trust staff, including a mix of different professions, governor, patient representative and previous award winner will judge every nomination in each category to decide the winners.

The winner of each quarterly category will go through to the final of the Annual Awards shortlist for their respective category.

Once the Annual Award categories have closed, another panel of judges will judge those categories and decide a shortlist of nominations for each category.

The short-list will go on to be judged by a different panel of staff to decide the winner for each category.

This is kept top secret until the presentation at the Annual Awards Ceremony.

The nominees that make it to the short-list will be informed and the winners for each category will be announced at the Annual Awards Ceremony

When writing your nomination you should consider how the nominee meets each of the three criteria in the chosen category.

How will nominees and winners be recognised?
